We have a marvelous first 2 days in london. Our bed and breakfast hosts John and Norma could not be nicer. Though our plane was nearly 2 hours late John was still ready to pick us up from the underground station when we called. Our room is a lovely, large and over looks the very beautiful backyard.
After rising we toured the Musswell Hill area which is where the bed and breakfast is located. It reminds us a lot of Montmarte in Paris . A lovely area outside the hustle and bustle of London.
We had dinner have a great restaurant and pub called o'neils which use to be a church. It was amazingly good food!
We went to bed at 730 pm I didn't get up until 730 am. All in all a good nights rest with a few wakeful moments during the night. After hey great large breakfast we headed out for London. We use our portable audio guide to take us around the Westminster area. It started at the bridge near big bend and ended in Trafalgar square. Afterwards we hit the national gallery museum for great visit.
Our phone is working well on the t mobile uk version. Which is how we're bringing you these updates. Dinner was have a lovely italian place near our bed and breakfast. We have decided that whoever said you can't get good food in England just doesn't know where to eat!
We did run out of batteries as our chargers were working properly last night. Here are a few pictures from our day.
Tomorrow we plan to see Saint Paul's Cathedral the tower of London the British museum.
